The Pakistan Army has announced new job openings for soldiers (Sipahi). The application period runs from September 2nd to November 22, 2024. Interested candidates can submit their applications to their preferred Army Recruitment and Selection Center (ASRC) where they intend to take the test. Alternatively, candidates can register for the Soldier (Sipahi) position by visiting the nearest Army recruitment center. This recruitment drive offers an opportunity to join the Pakistan Army in the following roles:
Eligibility Criteria for Joining the Pakistan Army as a JCO
Must be a citizen of Pakistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, or Gilgit-Baltistan.
Age and Height Requirements
Sipahi (Soldier)
Age: Candidates should be between 17 1/2 and 23 years old. Graduates are eligible for a 1-year age relaxation, while relatives of martyrs, individuals injured in war, and those with a valid driving license are eligible for a 2-year age relaxation.
Height Requirements:
- General: 5 ft 6 in (167.5 cm)
- Clerk and Cook: 5 ft 3 in (160 cm)
- Military Police: 5 ft 8 in (173 cm)
- Sweeper: 5 ft 3 in (160 cm)
Note: Height relaxation is available for the relatives of martyrs.
Academic Qualifications for Joining the Pakistan Army
Sipahi (Soldier): General Requirement: Matriculation or higher qualification.
Specific Roles:
- Clerk: Intermediate or higher qualification preferred. Candidates with computer knowledge will be given priority.
- Cook: Middle school education or higher.
- Sweeper: No formal education required; primary education is the highest level accepted.
Additional Note: A special quota is available for minorities.
