The United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) has announced the Global UGRAD 2025 program for Pakistani students. This program provides an opportunity for Pakistani university students to study for one semester at a U.S. university. The Global UGRAD-Pakistan program facilitates cultural and academic exchange through a non-degree semester in the United States.
Eligible applicants must be in their 14th year of formal education. Students enrolled in either a four-year bachelor’s program or a two-year bachelor’s program in Pakistan are welcome to apply. The deadline to apply for the UGRAD 2025 program is September 25, 2024.
UGRAD Grant Covers:

- Tuition and fees

- Limited allowance for books

Eligibility Criteria for UGRAD 2025 Study Exchange Program for the USA:
- Must be a Pakistani citizen
- Age between 18-24 years
- Currently enrolled in a college or university in Pakistan, and committed to returning after completing the program
- Demonstrate strong leadership qualities and involvement in university or community activities
- Show a serious interest in learning about the United States
- Maintain a high level of academic achievement, reflected in grades, awards, and reference letters
- Proficient in English
- Students from diverse backgrounds, especially those without previous international travel experience, are encouraged to apply
Ineligibility:
- Applicants holding dual U.S./Pakistani nationality or U.S. permanent residence
- Applicants with a parent, spouse, or fiancé who is a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Employees (and their spouses, fiancés, siblings, dependents, children, and parents) of the Fulbright organization, the U.S. Department of State, USAID, or the HEC, if applying for programs funded by these agencies
- Students in their final year of university
